Background
Spinnaker Management has been managing communities since 1994 when our founder, Katie Monks, began the business. Katie handled all aspects of running the company for three years, providing both the on-site property management and accounting/budgeting services to clients while growing the business from upstate New York. In 1997, Tina Williams CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) joined Katie to expand Spinnaker, open up a local office, and lead the property management side of Spinnaker. Our third partner, Doris Steele, joined Spinnaker in 1998 to add depth to both the accounting and property management end of the business.
With a team of dedicated property managers, accountants, and support staff, Spinnaker has grown, and now manages 3,700 residential units, and commercial properties. Currently, we have our property management office located in Wallkill, NY, some on-site staff at our client's locations, and our main accounting office in Broadalbin, NY.
